Union won the last time they faced Noxapater and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellowjackets took down the Tigers 51-33. The Yellowjackets pushed the score to 41-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Union found their leader in sophomore Vay'Von Harris, who posted 25 points. Aidan Davis was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Union now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Noxapater, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will face off against Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Noxapater, they will challenge Choctaw County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
