Volleyball Recap: Convent of the Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Convent of the Sacred Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the University Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Convent of the Sacred Heart started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-18.

Convent of the Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Convent of the Sacred Heart nor University have any future games scheduled.
