Soccer Recap: Beckman Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Beckman can now relate to. They fell just short of the Crescenta Valley Falcons by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Beckman has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Crescenta Valley, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Beckman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crescenta Valley, they will face off against Portola at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Portola will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Crescenta Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
