Raleek Brown and Edison (Stockton) thanks to a fourth down touchdown with just under four minutes left. Up next for the Bulldogs is Monterey Trail (Elk Grove) in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section semifinals.
Carlsbad upset No. 17 Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) in the CIF San Diego Section semifinals and won 21-20. They take on No. 15 Helix (La Mesa) in the section championship after they held off St. Augustine (San Diego) 12-7.
In a matchup of Top 25 California teams No. 25 San Clemente edged out No. 18 Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley) 13-9 to advance to the CIF Southern Section Division 2 semifinals. They face Chaminade (West Hills) next after they beat Upland 28-27 in overtime.
