Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of American Studies. That's two games in a row now that Roosevelt has lost by exactly two runs.

Roosevelt now has a losing record of 4-5. As for American Studies, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Studies, they will head out on the road to challenge Baruch College at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils Bearcats' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so American Studies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
