Basketball Recap: Sugar Hill Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home

Sugar Hill Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 68-61 victory over the North Georgia HomeSchool Tribe. The Stallions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tribe, too.

Christopher Britt went supernova, going 13-for-22 en route to 36 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Knox Britt, who shot 70% from the field to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for North Georgia HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Sugar Hill Christian Academy and North Georgia HomeSchool will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Stallions see the court they'll take on The King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, their break will end when they face William & Reed Academy at 5:45 p.m. on November 4.
