First Baptist strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Wylie Prep Academy Patriots with a sharp 8-1 win. The eight-run effort marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Allison Munnerlyn was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Camila Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylie Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

First Baptist always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .533 or higher in seven consecutive contests.

First Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Wylie Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
