Recap: Albert Gallatin Colonials vs. Brentwood Spartans
Even though the Brentwood Spartans scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, the Albert Gallatin Colonials still came out on top. Albert Gallatin strolled past Brentwood with points to spare, taking the game 74-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Albert Gallatin.
Albert Gallatin had a senior duo take command as Blake White scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists and Mykel Belt scored 16 points along with nine assists and four steals. The matchup was White's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Evan Strimel was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Albert Gallatin's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. As for Brentwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albert Gallatin will take on Connellsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brentwood, they will head out on the road to face off against West Mifflin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
