The Liberty Redhawks will head out to challenge the Memorial Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Liberty comes in on four and Memorial on three.
Last Friday, everything went Liberty's way against Independence as Liberty made off with a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-18.
Liberty relied on the efforts of Riley Wong, who had four digs and 20 assists, and Morgan Ferguson, who had eight digs and two aces. Wong is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Memorial got the win against Emerson on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.
While Memorial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-12.
Liberty has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Memorial, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-12.
