With a playoff win on the line, Batavia rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Glenbard East Rams as they made off with a 42-21 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Michael Vander Luitgaren produced another solid performance throwing for 254 yards and three TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 159.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Darin Ashiru was in the mix as well, providing Batavia with two scores.

Batavia's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Glenbard East, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2.

As of now, neither Batavia nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
