Volleyball Recap: Musselman Beats Loudoun County for Their Fourth Straight Win

Musselman hadn't done well against Loudoun County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Applemen came out on top against the Captains by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Applemen, who have now won four matches in a row.

Musselman not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Loudoun County between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Bianca Hutzler was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high. Alycia Miller also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Musselman's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Loudoun County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Musselman and Loudoun County will both be playing Riverside the next time they take the court. The Captains will head out to face the Ram at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday, while the Applemen will play them later in the day, at 11:40 a.m.
