Football Recap: Center Line Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Center Line Prep came up short against the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders on Friday, falling 35-12.

Lutheran Northwest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jonah Breithaupt out in front who rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns. Breithaupt didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble, made four total tackles, and defended one pass. Mark Mantay helped out on the ground, rushing for 117 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Center Line Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lutheran Northwest, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Line Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on University Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Lutheran Northwest, they will take on Cabrini at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
