Soccer Recap: Eastside Has No Trouble Against Palatka

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eastside walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Palatka Panthers on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

They hit Palatka with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Makayla Martin, Ingrid Astrom, Macy Morris, and Mandela Marsh.

Eastside's win bumped their record up to 4-12-2. As for Palatka, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Eastside has already played their next game (against Keystone Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Palatka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
