While losing is never fun, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Edison is ranked 36th).
Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anika Rhim, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Lee, who scored seven points.
