Volleyball Game Preview: Edison Tech Inventors vs. Brighton Bruins

The Edison Tech Inventors will face off against the Brighton Bruins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brighton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Edison Tech, who comes in off a win.

Edison Tech will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating North Rose-Wolcott, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Inventors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Brighton was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Webster Schroeder, falling 3-0.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Edison Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Edison Tech couldn't quite get it done against Brighton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Inventors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
