Volleyball Recap: Concord Christian Snags 11th Victory in Last 12 Games

Concord Christian's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past King's Academy 3-0. Concord Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw King's Academy, too.

While Concord Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-23.

Concord Christian was led to victory by Katelyn Stooksbury and Manhattan Shuler. Stooksbury had 20 digs and two assists, while Shuler had 25 assists and three digs. Stooksbury is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Concord Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for King's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Concord Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Providence Academy on the 18th. As for King's Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Lakeway Christian Academy on the 18th.
