Baseball Recap: Auburn Mountainview Starts off Right with Win over Auburn

Auburn Mountainview had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Auburn Trojans by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Caden Shoul made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Shoul was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.
