Basketball Recap: Houston Skates Past Eleva-Strum with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madison County, Houston was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Eleva-Strum Cardinals, posting a 77-48 victory. That looming 77-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hilltoppers yet this season.

Houston moved to 8-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Eleva-Strum, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houston will square off against North Pontotoc at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eleva-Strum, they will head out on the road to challenge Osseo-Fairchild at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
