Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Sports Leadership & Management needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from Ethan Taylor. Sports Leadership & Management secured a 62-56 W over the Taravella Trojans on Saturday thanks in part to Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.

Taravella lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nick Florea, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Florea has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Arriaga, who posted ten points.

Sports Leadership & Management's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Taravella, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
