A big congratulations to Cameron Newman, who posted at least five blocks for the first time in his career. He almost dropped a triple-double with 11 points, nine assists, and nine blocks, helping propel Gaston Christian past Fort Mill by a score of 74-60. We think that's the best game he's posted since last Monday, when he shot 7-for-11 from deep and almost dropped a double-double with 31 points and nine steals.

Coming up, Gaston Christian and Cannon will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The last time Newman took on the Cougars, he was just phenomenal, shooting 50% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and six steals.
