After a string of four wins, El Camino's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of The Cambridge School Griffins by a score of 2-1.

John Ritz paced El Camino's offense, picking up ten kills. Ritz got some help from Nathanael Scharff and his 17 assists. Finally, Ritz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

El Camino's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for The Cambridge School, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Camino will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Maranatha Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Cambridge School, they will square off against Mira Mesa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
