Volleyball Recap: Red Rock Central Comes Up Short

Red Rock Central lost against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on October 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0.

While Red Rock Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-8, 25-15.

Abby Evans paced Red Rock Central's offense, picking up four kills. Evans got some help from Natasha Erickson and her 12 assists.

Red Rock Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4.

Red Rock Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Murray County Central on the 28th.
