Volleyball Recap: St. Thomas More Continues Road Dominance on Thursday + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dominican, St. Thomas More was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavaliers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

St. Thomas More walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 20-25, 25-23.

Sophia Scardino paced St. Thomas More's offense, picking up 11 kills. Scardino got some help from Julia Killoran and her 36 assists. Scardino was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

St. Thomas More's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-10. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-23 record this season.

After both having extra time off, St. Thomas More and Greenfield will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they will take on Kenosha Christian Life in a tournament on Saturday.
