Soccer Game Preview: Frederick vs. Liberty + How To Watch

Frederick is 0-3 against Liberty since August of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Cadets will square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. Liberty took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Frederick, who comes in off a win.

Frederick was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Governor Thomas Johnson, sneaking past 2-1.

Jose Vasquez Lopez and Jaiden Huacache scored both of Frederick's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Liberty entered their matchup against Century on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions came up short against the Knights, falling 4-1.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Frederick, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-7-1.

Frederick might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Liberty when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Cadets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
