Basketball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

The Northview Titans were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 79-73 to the Fulton Science Academy Mustangs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Fulton Science Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julian Edney led the charge by putting up 20 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jason Beck, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Northview will welcome Riverside Military Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fulton Science Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Blessed Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
