Basketball Recap: Whiteland Takes a Loss

Whiteland lost against Plainfield back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 64-52 to the Quakers.

Noah Smith was a one-man wrecking crew For Plainfield. as he dropped a double-double with 16 points and 17 boards. Those 17 rebounds gave Smith a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Baker-Lands, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 16 points.

Whiteland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Plainfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Whiteland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-62 victory against East Central on the 6th. As for Plainfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-65 win against New Albany on the 6th.
