Basketball Recap: Central Christian Comes Up Short

The Central Christian Crusaders lost to the Oak Mountain Academy Warriors at home by a 71-56 margin on Friday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Oak Mountain Academy to victory were Bryson Dickey and Ole Seehars. Dickey dropped a double-double with 19 points and 20 rebounds, while Seehars went 8-for-15 on his way to 19 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jeb Harper, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 11 points.

Central Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Christian will challenge Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Crusaders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Covenant Christian School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
