Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the ABF Academy Cowboys, falling 66-36. The contest marked Sports Leadership & Management's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Sports Leadership & Management players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Lindor, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Taylor, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

ABF Academy had a senior duo take command as Estoyan Vargas earned 18 points and Sebastian Paez put up 17 points. Another player making a difference was Eric Dibami, who had ten points.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for ABF Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Sports Leadership & Management didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-49 loss against Gulliver Prep on the 7th. As for ABF Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 45-32 victory against IMG Academy Gold on the 9th.
