Volleyball Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Comes Up Short

Eagle Ridge Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions.

Sylvia Campagna paced Eagle Ridge Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Campagna were helped by Aryanna Chaparro and Mollie Schaefer, who contributed four assists each. Allie Steffens controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Eagle Ridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Banning Lewis Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Eagle Ridge Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Thomas MacLaren School on the 25th. As for Banning Lewis Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Golden View Classical Academy on the 25th.
