After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Regis Jesuit, Smoky Hill was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Rangeview Raiders as they made off with a 15-1 victory. The matchup marked the Buffaloes' most dominant win of the season so far.

Ava Matheny made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
