It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Carson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Reno Huskies, sneaking past 30-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Senators have posted since September 6, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zack Eaton, who picked up 92 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Carson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reno only rushed for 113.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braylon Wilson, who threw for 318 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 70 yards and one score. Reno's leading receiver Chase Langbehn was Wilson's top target yet again, picking up 176 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Carson now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Reno, their record is now an identical 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carson will challenge rival Wooster at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reno is set to square off against their familiar foe North Valleys at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
