Softball Recap: Toronto Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Toronto's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Madonna Blue Dons on Tuesday. Red Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Dons since on Tuesday.

Toronto saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laney Danko, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Toronto and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Madonna, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Toronto wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-3 victory against Wellsville on the 27th. As for Madonna, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Bridgeport on the 26th.
