Baseball Recap: Archie Williams Starts Season with Loss at Home

Archie Williams unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 10-4 to the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Archie Williams saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Evans, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Joey Altman was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archie Williams will welcome Petaluma at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will be playing at home against McClatchy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McClatchy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bishop O'Dowd surely won't give up without a fight.
