Football Recap: Sabetha Extends Winning Streak to Two

St. Marys came into Friday's game looking for another win against Sabetha, but Will Voos wouldn't allow it. The Bluejays blew past the Bears 28-6 on Friday for which the team can thank Voos, who rushed for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.

The win made it two in a row for Sabetha and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for St. Marys, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Sabetha and St. Marys are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bluejays will welcome Humboldt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sabetha will be up against the Cubs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Marys, they will venture away from home to square off against Silver Lake on Friday.
