Softball Recap: Postville Comes Up Short

Postville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Clayton-Ridge Eagles, falling 13-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 28-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in July of 2025.

Postville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Clayton-Ridge, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Postville will head out on the road to face off against Waukon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clayton-Ridge, they have already played their next game, a 16-6 victory against Central on the 6th.
