Vail Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Burlington Cougars on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Saints sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Vail Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-9, 25-19.

Sam Bates was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October.

Vail Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Burlington, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.

Vail Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burlington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Caprock Academy on the 8th.
