After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Restoration Academy, East Central HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 44-32 win over Chilton Christian Academy. East Central HomeSchool's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

East Central HomeSchool was led to victory by Stella Barnett and Caroline Moore. Barnett almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Moore dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Barnett a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Rhi Rhi King, who posted five points.

East Central HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

East Central HomeSchool's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Chilton Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

East Central HomeSchool and Chilton Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Patriots see the court they'll take on Evangel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Chilton Christian Academy, their break will end when they face Ezekiel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 9.
