Breckenridge won against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Monday with 71 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Breckenridge Cowboys came out on top against the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds by a score of 71-59. The win was familiar territory for the Cowboys who have now won three matchups in a row.

Breckenridge now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Mahnomen/Waubun, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Breckenridge will head out to take on Hawley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Breckenridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Hawley likes a good challenge.
