Baseball Preview: Webster County Trojans vs. Hancock County Hornets

Webster County and Hancock County are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Trojans will host the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Webster County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

On Monday, Webster County got the win against Trinity by a conclusive 10-3. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Gunnar Boone was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
