Basketball Recap: McDonough Comes Up Short

McDonough kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 63-48 to the Tucker Tigers. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Despite the loss, McDonough still got an impressive performance from Kerrington Moore, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Khaleb Young, who scored ten points.

The win got Tucker back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, McDonough will square off against Russell County at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tucker, they will challenge Therrell at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
