Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wolcott RVT). They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Goodwin Tech Gladiators on Tuesday. With that victory, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 7.6 runs per game.

Brody Nadeu made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Nadeu was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Devon Schmitt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Robbie Nellson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Wolcott RVT kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Wolcott RVT's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Goodwin Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
