Carson waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 21-14 win over the Douglas Tigers. This was payback for the Senators, who suffered a 47-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

A big part of Carson's victory came down to the chemistry between Tyler Silsby and his top target Zack Eaton. Silsby threw for 67 yards and two TDs while Eaton picked up 53 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Carson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 217 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 217 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Carson now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Carson will square off against McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Senators will need to watch out since the Lancers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Douglas, they will take on Spanish Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
