Volleyball Recap: Mt. Lebanon Comes Up Short

Mt. Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Hills Indians. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Indians when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Lebanon took North Hills into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-15, 16-25, 18-16.

Mt. Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Mt. Lebanon will be taking part in a tournament against Morgantown at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Hills, they will venture away from home to take on Quaker Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
