Volleyball Recap: Paige Arentz and Abigail Barthelemy Secure Win for Grafton

With a playoff win on the line, Grafton rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the New Berlin West Vikings by a score of 3-1. For the Black Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-22, 15-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Leading Grafton to victory were Abigail Barthelemy and Paige Arentz. Barthelemy had 13 digs and four assists, while Arentz had 14 assists and seven digs. That's the most digs Arentz has posted over her last seven matches.

Grafton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record this season. As for New Berlin West, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-10.

Coming up, Grafton will square off against Pius XI Catholic on Saturday. New Berlin West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
