Basketball Recap: Turner Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chillicothe over Platte County

Chillicothe lost against Platte County back in November of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets fell 49-42 to the Pirates.

Chillicothe lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Turner Jackson, who posted 18 points. Jaishon White was another key player, shooting 60% from the field on his way to 17 points and seven boards.

Chillicothe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Chillicothe is taking a road trip to face off against Trenton at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Platte County, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Raytown at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
