While West Anchorage might've come up empty on Friday, Jezekaiah Tufue wasn't going down without a fight. Tufue picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (7.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Tufue and West Anchorage will be playing in front of their home fans against Juneau-Douglas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Tufue's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Eagles' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Tufue and the Eagles surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
