Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fountain Inn). They claimed a resounding 63-0 win over the Southside Tigers. Given the Fury's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Tigers are ranked 223rd) , the win on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sam Holliday continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 127 yards and four TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (165.5). BJ Curenton was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Fountain Inn proved: they limited Southside to a paltry -2.3 yards per carry. The Fury didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.

The victory made it two in a row for Fountain Inn and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Fountain Inn nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
