Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Swink walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Del Norte Tigers on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Lions are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-14, 25-18.

Emma Gacnik paced Swink's offense, picking up ten kills. Gacnik got some help from Briana McElroy and her 15 assists. Finally, Daisy Heberlie kept Swink's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Swink's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Del Norte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Swink and Del Norte will both be playing Heritage Christian the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
