Football Recap: Roy/Mosquero Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Roy/Mosquero's offense. They had to suffer through a 66-0 loss at the hands of the Logan Longhorns. Having soared to a lofty 80 points in the game before, the Blue/Lady Blue's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Roy/Mosquero now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Logan, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Roy/Mosquero will square off against Mountainair at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue/Lady Blue will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Logan, they will face off against New Mexico School for the Deaf at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
