Amelia Waggoner Game Report: @ Colorado Academy

On Thursday, Prospect Ridge Academy had to settle for second even though Amelia Waggoner put up the best numbers she has all season. Waggoner went 8 for 16 en route to 22 points and eight boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. That was a full 68.8% of Prospect Ridge Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Waggoner and Prospect Ridge Academy will venture away from home to square off against The Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. The Miners got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Wildcats, probably because Waggoner had a solid game then too: she went 7 of 17 on her way to 17 points and eight rebounds.
